What do you think? Yeah that's probably your best strategy. These are two old guys who basically just hit hard, they don't got a lot to them.
Who knows, this flight can go either way. Vitor's got one foot out the door maybe he survives to do Bellator next. Nate Marquardt, I don't know, God love him he's still cashing a check. I guess I give Vitor the edge. No TRT though I really don't know how to take it. Lots of confidence with that pick ewire casinos in Canada.
Oh yeah real confident. It's going to be a ton of chalk just take the under. I don't care what it is set at, just take the under. Okay so do you think, is there anything else bettors should have on their radar for this fight card. Well this is going to be interesting because this one is more of a future for bettors, kind of look at this now and see how it breaks down. We have Marlon Moraes making his UFC debut against Raphael Assuncao that's on the undercard.
Moraes has gotten better with each of his flights. He absolutely dominated World Series of Fighting. he was one of the best fighters outside of the UFC. But there's a hell of a big difference between fighting Josh Hill and fighting Raphael Assuncao. If Moraes comes in and beats Assuncao then he immediately is in that title contention and we might see him as an underdog if he does get title shots down the line because he doesn't really have as big of a name value.
So I think that this is kind of going to be gaging fight where we look towards the future and maybe get a better sense of what to do then. Okay great thank you very much Justin, that does it for UFC 212 betting preview. The UFC returns to Brazil on Saturday for UFC 212 and features a featherweight unification bout between Jose Aldo and Max Holloway. Right off the bat I'm going to tell you that I'm not an Aldo fan. He seems to pull out of every other fight he's in and I think he's a sore loser. But with odds of -125 to win, I'm picking him to win because I won't let my personal feelings interfere with my bankroll. Justin what is your take on this fight?
My take is going to be not that hot because it's going to be razor thin. This is one of the hardest fights to predict. It's really going to in my mind come down to Aldo's defense versus Holloway's offense. Aldo is so accurate and he's so good at timing his punches and as he's aged he's learned to kind of overcome a little bit of kind of his deteriorating speed and it's so technically brilliant.
Not the flashiest, but he's so good at counter striking a little slow to start to find that range but once he does it's devastating. And then we look at Holloway, Holloway also very technically proficient not the flashiest, he'll throw the occasional wheel kick in here and there but he's all about aggression. He likes to walk down his opponent and when he can get their back on the cage he sets his feet and throws these beautiful combinations, he's very smart knowing when to kind of change it up between head and body and I think that's going to be the big thing, can Aldo avoid being pushed against the cage in this one. So you're on Holloway? Yeah I'm going to take Holloway. Your entire reputation is on Holloway.
All one of my reputation is on Holloway. Okay great. So as I said off the top Aldo is in the -125 range coming into this fight but if you're looking to get more bang for your buck with a plus money bet I advise taking him to win by decision at +200. I'd like him in this spot for two reasons, six of his eight wins in the UFC had been by decision and because Holloway has only been finished once in 20 career fights.
How do you think this one finishes? I want to be ballsy and I want to be the guy that says Holloway can finish Aldo, really for the first time ever except for McGregor, but I can't, I can't do it even at the +370 value I can't do it. I think this is Holloway by decision which you can get around +240, +250 depending on where you're at. Like you said these guys don't get stopped. Aldo has been stopped twice in his 28 pro fights and Holloway just once and those came back a very long time ago for both guys, again aside from the McGregor one, and speaking of McGregor, Holloway in McGregor fought and he couldn't put away Holloway either.
That is true. So in the co-main event we have a very interesting women strawweight fight between Claudia Gadelha and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, you nailed that, we're not Polish. So I know Claudia has a significant grappling advantage but I'd argue that Karolina's elite level striking evens things out, and as one of the biggest underdogs on the card at +250 she offers UFC 212's best betting value. You disagree, why? I like Karolina. I think she's a fantastic striker I think she has great take down defense but Claudia is a whole other animal.
Her takedown wrestling is so good she's so strong and now she's even training at Jackson Wink which will help round out her game. Her striking wasn't her best feature but it was always crisp and technical but it'll only get better now that she has actual female sparring partners and she has that really good in depth training. To be perfectly honest I don't think anybody in the 115-pound division can beat Claudia right now in 15 minutes. I think she won two of the first three rounds versus double J when they fought back in the summer.
Yeah she was pounding double J in that fight. We were at the, down in Vegas for that one and let's just say by the time the third round ended I ripped up my ticket. In the UFC's senior division we have the swan song of The Phenom Vitor Belfort who has been anything but phenomenal recently. Despite being on the receiving end of three straight ass-kickings he's a -150 favorite over Nate "the Great" Marquardt who coincidentally has been anything but great lately. In fights like this I'm just going to take the plus money.

The days of spending large amounts of money on university education are long gone with a large number of online universities coming up on the internet. Degrees which were earned after spending long hours sitting on a chair in front of a board are now earned sitting at home. No more does one need to travel long distances to reach their colleges on time and no more does an individual have to pay hefty tuition fees.
Do not interpret it to believe that the traditional colleges are bad. They have their own importance with many still preferring to opt for regular classes. Nevertheless, there are also many who simply cannot afford to attend such institutions and were looking for alternate ways of getting their degree. Well finally their wish has been fulfilled and they too can enjoy being degree holders.
It comes as a boon especially for those who aspire to be degree holders but cannot afford to pay the exorbitant tuition fees. The cost of internet education is merely a fraction of what tradition education asks for thus making education not only affordable but also very practical.
Another class of people is those who have responsibilities to take care of thus making it impossible for them to dedicate themselves towards full time education. For them, education can only indulged in during their free time. Internet education offers flexible timings and the candidate can read through the material anytime during the day. The material can be downloaded on the local drive of the system making it accessible 24/7.
The numbers of courses available are many encompassing all major subjects that are being taught in regular universities. In such a scenario, those who could not get admission in the subject of their choice have a lot to gain. The numbers of people who can enroll for online education are fairly higher than the seats available in the campus. As such, more number of people can gain a degree in the subject of their preference. Some popular degrees being offered as a part of internet education include Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Accounts, Nursing, and Finance etc.
It would be unfair to forget about the convenience that online education has to offer to those who enroll to it. To start with, there is no need to visit the campus thus helping save a lot of valuable time. The study material can be downloaded on the computer at home which effectively means the candidate would not even have to come out of his room. If the course requires some practical training, it is the only time he would be required to visit the campus. Flexible hours ensure that one can study with a relaxed mind as and when he wishes to without having to hurry into it. Students are able to use online writing services when they feel there is a problem in their writing. This is especially good considering relaxed mind is when an individual is expected to gain the most.
Because of similar course material and schedule, internet education is being recognized by all major corporate companies. Just like regular courses, it has its own positives. The bonus of making the most of it lies on none other than the candidate himself.
Most mobile marketing is done in application or on mobile websites through banners. Of course, with this you have to be a bit innovative. It is not enough to place a generic small banner in an app to an email submit offer, hoping that the leads will roll in.
Some general tips are:
- Use a pre-lander, with which you pre-qualify the users. A commonly used tactic is the use of a page with a quiz or survey, after which the user is “qualified” to go to the lead generation page.
- Mimic with your banners commonly used apps. For instance, a big success was the banner that had the Facebook notification screen as inspiration, which gave users the idea that they got a message waiting for them after they clicked the banner. Not the most sincere of tactics, but it works.
- Obviously target the right places and market segments for your product on offer. But do not be too obvious otherwise you will pay the lot. If you have gaming product to promote, marketing it through another gaming app is logical, but perhaps even better is marketing it another unrelated app that your target group also likes.
- Countdowns (“this offer will expire in … seconds”) are used often, and for a good reason. It works. However, use it only if it fits your product. It can be detrimental to a high quality product in the long run.
- Make your own landing page and first collect all data first by yourself. Remarket various products through your own channel later on, for instance email. This can be the most profitable tactic if you do it right. After all, you will have customer data that you can use to promote multiple offer sequentially.
Other mobile marketing elements that are gaining in popularity is the use of so-called “QR codes”. These are mostly used by companies with a large street presence. And location based advertising will become very big in the near future. This will offer great opportunities to local business or marketers who want to target on the dot.
Where to buy mobile traffic?
As I told in the previous article An Introduction to Mobile Marketing (Part 1), unless you have your own mobile page or mobile app, you will have to buy mobile traffic direct or networks. Direct is quite difficult as you will have to deals with app owners separately. Therefore I would advice to sign up for mobile networks. Now, there are a lot of networks out there as the market is still new. This also means there is quite a lot of dodgy traffic out there. And that you will have to test a lot. Good mobile traffic networks that converted well for me are InMobi and MobFox.
The field of mobile advertising is still changing a lot these years. Networks come and go. Apps that were popular a year ago have completely this years. An app of a month old can be the most popular app of the world all of the sudden. Also hardware changes. Screen sizes of the mobile phones change. And the technological advances in mobile marketing are quick and profound. In short, mobile advertising is an exciting field which can provide new opportunities constantly.
More than 50% of the global population uses their phone to access the internet. In the US and Europe, this is more than 60%. And for at least 40% of the global population, their (smart)phone is their main device for surfing the internet.
This is a lot of potential traffic for an affiliate marketer. And I bet you most of you do not utilize it – myself included. And that is a missed opportunity. Even if you just get to market at only a slice of this traffic in one specific country, it is still a big audience for promoting products. And it is expected that this audience will only grow bigger in the coming years.
Now as you may know, mobile marketing is not really the same as online marketing for normal computers (or even tablets as IPad and such, which form a middle ground). In some ways it is whole different ball game.
Some striking differences:
Screen Size. The screen which the customer uses is much smaller than a normal. This gives you much less space to advertise in, and limits your possibilities. For instance, banners need to be much smaller. Furthermore, the landing pages you use have to be adapted to the mobile screen (you can keep using the normal web version but this will lower your conversion rate in almost all cases).
Utilitzation. Many smartphone users use apps to access information and to use programs. This means that a lot of communication is taking place within these apps. Furthermore, many functions in apps are not the same as they work on a normal screen. You cannot (as of yet) advertise in the Facebook mobile app as you can in their browser version for example.
Monetization. Business Models are very different. As of yet, people do not like to complete large transactions on their phone. Thus, there is less scope to push products for sales. Lead generation seems the way to go though. However, as the screen is much smaller, the process of signing up needs to be more simple that for most web versions.
This all means that mobile marketing takes a quite special place within online marketing. Methods that work for you on the normal media can fail miserably on mobile. Take google search advertising for example. On a small screen it is less potent, and your landing page have to customized to small screen too. Furthermore, you product needs to be easy to convert.
On the other hand, mobile advertising can give great new opportunities as well. You can build an app and market within it. And of course you can market specific products for mobile in an easier way.
What products are suited for mobile marketing? In my experience, products that convert well on mobile traffic are:
> Mobile apps (obviously)
> Mobile downloads
> Music and other small multimedia
> Simple email submits (lead generation)
> Dating with simple mobile sign up form
In most cases you will need a mobile LP to increase you conversion rate, but you can test by going direct first to see if it converts and if the traffic source is sound.
You want to stand out? Make a difference? Be successful?
Then start to think for yourself. One of the most liberating thoughts you can have is that you are free no matter what happens. You always have a choice. Here I do not just mean “free” in the literal political sense. But also free as a person in social context. Once you detach yourself about what other people think of you, and you do what you want to do, you will start to feel really free. And then you can undertake those things that you really what to do. You can follow your passion. This can only be the case if you start to have ideas on your own. Thinking for yourself is what makes you different. It is what drives your creativity, and ultimately, it is what makes you add value to the world either through your thoughts, your company and your actions.
Starting to be location independent and starting your own business can be difficult out of social reasons.
80 to 90% of all people work in companies (for other people) and do work that is practically interchangeable. They work from 9 to 5 (at least), have regular routines, laid out work mechanics, and think inside the box. To be clear, I am glad those people exist. They make society work. And if you ask them, these people can be quite content with their jobs. Often these jobs are sheltered and safe and provide regular income. Nothing wrong with that per se.
But this means that most people around you, as your family and friends, work normal jobs, 9 to 5, and are often happy with their lives (or so they say so at least). When you will do something different than them, like starting your own company, living in another country, travel a lot, this can be difficult for them to understand. You are doing something different then 90% of the people out there, and most likely, the majority of your social circle. You will have a different mindset than them, and you will experience different things. One of the most striking things is that when you travel a lot, you will also encounter a lot of adventures and various experiences. But your friends back home seemingly do not experience these things. Their lives basically stay the same during this period. So it can happen that you will feel yourself alienated after a while. Do not be put off by this and keep following your own path.
I am convinced that if you have a passion and pursue it actively, you will not only be happy, but will be financially successful as well.
There are two reasons for this. One, when you are active in your passion you are (or soon will be) an expert in it. This sells. Second, when you like what you do, have passion, then you are willing to put in a lot of work into it. This puts you ahead of others who only do things for the money they get. Put more time and effort in something you love and are an expert in. This means almost always financial success and independence.
However, when you follow your passion, and other do not, they will have a different mindset and opinions than you. So you will have to be prepared to go against the grain constantly in order to be free, to live passionately. Do not let the opinions of other thwart what you really want to do. They may be scared that you fail and want to protect you. They may not understand what you do and try to convince you otherwise. They may be (secretly) jealous and hope that you fail. But in all cases, keep going your own way.
Ultimately, going against the grain will be the best thing you have ever done.
You never know before you done it. And always, you will look back and say “I did the right thing”. Even when it does not work out. Your social circle, if they really like you, will accept you and the choices you make. If not, you have to ask yourself, are they real friends after all? You should choose your own path and not a path that other persons want you to be in. That is guaranteed unhappiness.
